Mark serves as Senior Title Examiner for Fidelity National Title's D.C. National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. In his current role he primarily examines Maryland and D.C. titles, but has also reviewed titles nationwide. Mark previously worked in Frederick County, Maryland and his accomplishments include examining and providing title work to the U.S. National Park Service. This was for the acquisition of property now known as the “Monocacy National Battlefield” just south of Frederick, and also for buffer easements concerning that portion of the Appalachian Trial in Frederick County. Since coming to the Fidelity family in 1997, Mark has worked on everything from chicken and hog farms to multi-purpose commercial transactions all over the country. He has always enjoyed uncovering the history of the property to be insured.
Working with clients and local offices around the country to resolve problems with title and provide coverage has helped us develop a strong customer base and I can only hope that we continue to provide this in the future.
Mark has a BS in Geology from the University of Maryland. Currently residing in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and Mango the dog, he enjoys hiking, biking, and golf.
