After 4 years of working on the language, the ALTA Forms Committee has approved changes that encompass a number of things. Among them, aligning the updated language of the 2016 Commitment to the Policy Forms and moving some commonplace exceptions to the jacket as exclusions. Making punctuation and grammatical refinements to clarify coverages as well as address how courts have interpreted prior policy language.
